- THE ARTIST
“In my creative work, I navigate between the languages I’ve learnt, the spaces I’ve visited. The rose-colored walls and light-sculpted spaces in Luis Barragán’s works. The embedded presence of nature in Aalto’s architecture. The spatial melodies in Xenakis’ drawings. The mystic diagrams in Hilma af Klint’s paintings. The linear motion in Rodin’s sculptures, and his persistence to hold on to his vision.
My work often composes sculptural forms and spatial motion combined with a strong visual presence. It is a dialogue between thinking and doing: playing a melody on a piano or blowing a miniature model in glass.”
Sibelius: Impromptu Op. 5/6
- THE PIANIST
Playing music is 50/50: Experience & intuition. When you know the piece on the keys well enough, you can just let the fingers lead the way.
